The popular free summer concert series that includes Jazz on the Village Green in Havelock North and Summer in the Parks in Cornwall Park in Hastings will kick off on Saturday, January 30, and run till Sunday, February 28.

The concerts are a wonderfully relaxing and easy way to pass the summer weekend afternoons and offer a social hub for families and friends who gather with picnics to enjoy the summer groove.
Arts Inc Heretaunga community arts development manager and chairman of Summer in the Parks Pitsch Leiser says the summer concert series has become an integral part of summer recreation in Hawke s Bay and will feature a diverse programme of music for a wide audience.

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - Eleven months after he was seriously hurt in a car accident, Cullman County Deputy Adam Clark returned to work Tuesday morning. His dad, Greg, welcomed him back on the radio.
On February 11, 2020, Deputy Clark and his K9 partner, Figo, were severely injured in the accident on Hwy. 69 South near Bremen. Sheriff Matt Gentry said dispatch lost contact with Clark during a stint of heavy rain. Cullman Sheriffâs deputies, Cullman Police, and Cullman EMS started looking for Clark and found him with the help of GPS.

Four years of hard-core branding, soap opera chic and designer trolling are coming to an end. What have we learned? A look back in gilt. Few presidents have exploited the theatrical grandeur of the job quite as enthusiastically or as cynically as Donald Trump, from his proliferating forests of flags to his gilding of the Oval Office. Few have been as strategic about the power of caricature or had such a complicit wife and court to bolster the spectacle. As a group, they tapped into the dregs of Dynasty and The Bonfire of the Vanities past that sits nestled in our lizard brains. For four years, we parsed soap opera chic instead of The West Wing. The visuals demanded attention, just like the tweets.
